I grew up, went to grade school and high school about 30 miles from these wonderful falls. I have visited them often. These falls serve as a core basis/inspiration for my joy and appreciation for Chinese landscape traditional waterfall art. Along the Columbia River Gorge there a several beautiful falls - but only one as majestic as this. Great seen with fall colors like this photo shows.
The coastal waters here reflect the ocean wave wonder of nature. I could photograph here daily
This photo captured the mood of the setting sun, people walking, and the sea birds drifting with the wind. That wind now creating a mist that will soon fade into the night's early darkness.
